The Sudan Doctors’ Union (SDU) Canada was established on the 24th of February 2019, with the goal of identifying and connecting members together in an effort to enrich their healthcare career journey and establish meaningful connections between the two countries, Canada and Sudan.

Learner Leadership Award
Dr. Zainab Doleeb, an SDU–Canada member and third-year Obstetrics and Gynaecology resident, received the Black Physicians’ Association of Ontario’s Learner Leadership Award for her outstanding work supporting Sudanese refugees and advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in medical education.
